Our Role and Offer

We are first and foremost, stewards. Before an offer of assistance is made, we will thoroughly evaluate your situation, the property, regional land values, and other related issues to determine our best role and opinion of market value. In most instances, we complete all due diligence, except title work, prior to making an offer of assistance.

Terms and Closing

We realize that each legacy owner has specific needs and desires. We regularly cooperate with trustees, heirs, beneficiaries and sellers interested in achieving tax, income, charitable, or other specific objectives.

Brokers/Agents and Legacy Owners

Brokers or agents who refer to situations and properties previously unknown to Open Lands are protected. Legacy owners may also contact us directly. We also work with individual sellers regularly, and believe them to be our greatest reference.
